Laura Probert has been selected as the new Chief People Officer for Scientific Games’ Digital team, joining the company from WPP where she served as VP Talent.

Confirming her appointment, SG praised Probert’s wealth of experience in delivering ‘successful’ People and Culture strategies. As the new CPO, she is expected to place an increased focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) across the company.

Probert will assume responsibility of the Digital business unit’s HR function, and will report to Group CEO Jordan Levin and Scientific Games global CHRO Eileen Moore Johnson.

Celebrating the appointment, Probert commented: “I’m excited to be joining the digital team at Scientific Games. The company has a strong reputation within the betting and gaming industry and I’m excited to work alongside so many talented and forward-thinking individuals.”

Prior to joining SG, Probert held a number of senior positions at Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment. In her last role as Global Head of Employee and Organisation Development, she was responsible for performance and employee management, employer branding and the employer value proposition.

Levin added: “Laura’s extremely experienced in HR management having worked with some of the world’s leading brands and will be a fantastic addition to our team.

“Our people continue to drive the transformation of our technology and products and their well-being has always been one of our key priorities. Laura has exceptional experience in this area and a passion for putting diversity, inclusion and people performance at the heart of business strategy.”
